Welcome

I am a Research Scientist at the Sustainability Bureau of the Department of Buildings in NY, USA, doing research and policy analysis on building decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency, renewable energy and emissions offsets. Prior to that, I was Research Fellow/Science Manager at the UCL Institute of Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources, London, UK.

I received my Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Public Policy at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University, NJ, USA in 2021. I also hold an M.Sc. in Environmental Planning and Design from the same school, and an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Patras, Greece (Environmental Engineering and Transportation focus).

My interests and expertise are in the areas of environmental and energy planning and policy, specifically climate adaptation and resilience of buildings and neighborhoods, with emphasis on the energy-heat-air quality-health nexus.
